Reasons Why Getting a Job is Not a Good Option

It took me many years to realise that people who get ahead are not necessarily smarter. They simply have the better understanding of what value they are in possession of, and they are not afraid to exercise it. While their rivals are bundling their value and time in exchange for money, the winners are already in action providing their best value to others and charging a fair price for it.

Bill Gate, the founder of Microsoft knew his value to others by avoiding the employment highway and diverted his route to providing value to millions of people worldwide making him to become the world richest today.

Let’s start by asking a simple question: what could an ordinary person, like you and me, do to stay on the brighter side of the street? Of course, the answer to that question may likely not be simple. But one thing is certain; success without freedom is no success.

Getting a job is slavery. It may make one to be blockhead or even dummy. I realised this some years back and my greatest challenge was to unplug myself from the socket of lifelong wage slave.

Have you not thought why is it that majority of people after graduating college assume it’s time to go out and get a job? Have you not asked yourself a question; is there not a better way than getting on the employment wagon?

They do not want to bother themselves into thinking of or moving to far better ways of making a living than enrolling themselves into indentured servitude.

No matter what, people still have to stay in wage job. What about you? Do you want to stand out and be different like Henry Ford, the founder of Ford Motor.

You need to realize that exchanging time for money is a dull-witted way to generate money. Why? Because, you only get paid when you are working. There is a problem with that. How are you going to fill the gaps when you are not working? The solution is, you must know that you can earn income while not working.

Again, you must realize that you earn income by providing value, not time. You need to discover a way to provide ideal value to others and charge a fair price for the value.

When you provide value, people will pay you for the value without bothering to know how long it took you to deliver the value. You can generate income without you physically present and your time can be well spent into developing other multiple streams of income. It is impossible for you to work 24hours 7days a week but the income generator you put in place can provide revenue for you 24hours 7days a week.

You can do many things. You can start a business and I do not mean the sort of business that can run well only when you are there morning till evening. A good example is someone who runs a retail shop without sales assistant, this will equal to another loss of freedom.

You can also become an investor, make your money become your slave by working hard for you, you can have a website or generating royalty income from creative work. Whatever work you would otherwise take up in the employment, find a way to provide that same value directly to those who will benefit most from it. Think on creating value for others and they will be happy to pay you for the value not the time it took.

In countries like the USA or United Kingdom, employees are the most heavily taxed. Someone complained to me that he earned £400 ($800) a week but only gets £250 ($500) after taxation. He hardly sees the sun because most of the time, he is caged indoor working.

It is even worse that this person risks his only source of income. What if he is fired at anytime because he spills coffee on the floor, where does he begin again? Another job hunting? Many people think that getting a job is the safest and most secure option to generate income. This is wrong. You can’t have security if someone else is determining and controlling your income. The boss may wake up one day and put your job to end in a flash.

If you still must get a job, feel free to do so. Learn to live less than you could earn and save a part of your earning. Keep your eye diligently open to identify value to provide for others and get your freedom. Go for having a multiple streams of income.
